Hi, Recent document option has been removed on Windows 10. Instead, on Windows 10 you have an option recent files. To access it, follow the steps: Press Windows Key + E. Under File Explorer, select Quick access. Now, you will find a section Recent files which will display all the recently viewed files/documents. Hope it helps.

There are no sorting options for a user to view the long list of"Recent" files. Of the 3 column headers- Name, Opened, Owner - none offer an option to sort in ascending or descending order, or any other user-specified option. The user has to instead page down multiple times scanning the list manually to find a file they assume is on this list.

I might go to file explorer, the folder i want to find recently accessed files in - and right click the highlighted area in pic below and click on more. Then click the new heading to arrange it the way i liked best.
